After dropping off “my” truck with the Car4Ukraine team, they discovered that winters in Finland (her country of origin) had not been kind to her frame. Years of road salt and rust had weakened it, and extensive work was needed to get her ready for front line service. In addition to repainting her, reinforcing her frame, and installing new mud tires and armor around the cab and engine compartment, she got a sticker highlighting her “American origins…”
A few weeks ago I got word she was ready to go to the Donbas region with several other vehicles.

There, she was tasked with logistics support, evacuation missions, and providing transport to mine laying teams. It was in support of this last mission that she recently came under automatic weapons and artillery fire from Russian forces, and whisked her crew to safety after rounds started falling around her.

Right into the action. Does the truck have a name yet?
Epic! What a great video clip!
